Glorious views of the ByBrook

An 8km circular walk with around 300m of ascent to gain spectacular views across the secret Lidbrook Valley, to the south of Colerne, and from the slopes of the delightful ByBrook valley. Starts and finishes at the Northey Arms on the A4 at Ashley, just outside Box.

Route description

This is a circular walk from the Northey Arms on the A4. This is accessible by bus from Bath, Corsham, Chippenham (31/X231) and Bath, Devizes and Melksham (273).

Parking is available at the Northey Arms but please purchase a pre-walk coffee or lunch time drink or meal afterwards. Alternative parking is available in Ashley.

It is likely to be very muddy underfoot in places so please wear sturdy boots.
