Route description
The hamlet of Sudgrove is reached early on in the walk and then there is a fairly gentle descent with attractive views before reaching Fox Wood. A climb takes us back towards Sudgrove Farm and through an impressive avenue of trees before joining a path back towards Miserden.
This is one of a series of shorter, steadier walks to introduce new walkers to the splendour of our glorious Cotswold landscape and the sheer joy of walking in the countryside.
Shorter walks will be at a gentler pace for those who fear that most Wardens’ Guided Walks may be a bit challenging. They will also be ideal for families (though not pushchairs, sorry) and possibly anyone wanting to regain fitness after a health setback. Children must be kept under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
