Meet for coffee at 10:00. The walk will start at 10:30 and take us from historic Chavenage House to Beverston Castle, against the background of the Civil War. We return via the attractive ‘Bottoms’ of Ledgemore and Longtree.

Route description

Chavenage House and Beverston were occupied by opposing sides during the English Civil War: the Parliamentarians from Chavenage eventually seized Beverston Castle from the Royalists.
