Two Comptons and some Fabulous Views

Compton means farm or estate in a valley. This walk goes from one valley to another linking two historic settlements with the name Compton. Being in a valley means necessarily going uphill as well as down, but the footpaths are good, and fabulous views of the surrounding countryside will be your reward.

Bring water and food for a mid-morning stop and lunch. Afterwards you have the option of a refreshing cuppa at The Straw Kitchen at Whichford Pottery or sample the ice cream at Wyatt’s Garden Centre, both nearby.
