Two commons, a farm and lots of beechwoods

The walk takes us over part of Cranham Common and then over to Ebworth Farm, part of the National Trust. From here the walk descends through beech woodland to Sheepscombe Common. A long but gentle ascent follows to the Fostons Ash area returning to Cranham via a woodland track

Route description

Apart from several fine views the walk takes in a dew pond, two commons and parts of the Cotswold Commons and Beechwood National Nature reserve. The beech woods are considered to be as fine as any in Europe.
