Route description

This hike provides a contrast to walks on or above the Cotswold escarpment. This flat rural walk lies between just 100-200m above sea level. We begin with our feet in the Cotswold National Landscape then head west through Bradley Farm to appreciate the agricultural landscape of this sparsely populated area. The route uses paths, tracks and lanes, and passes close to other long-established farms and historic Courts, and modern Swinhay House.

Please be prepared for changes in the weather ,with appropriate clothing and footwear for winter walking.  Hiking poles are useful in case of muddy or wet areas. There are no toilet or refreshment facilities on the walk. Please bring your own seating pad, drink and snack for a short break mid-walk. After the walk, cafe and toilet facilities can be found less than a mile away at Wotton Farm Shop, or in nearby Wotton itself
