Route description

About half of this walk is along lanes and the rest is on high well drained ground, so although it is February it shouldn’t be too muddy. The walk starts from the small car park by the Reading Room in Edgeworth, a very remote village. It then goes past St Mary’s church and Edgeworth Manor eventually reaching Tunley Farm. Then turning north the walk offers great views before returning to Edgeworth

This is the second walk in 2026 of a series of shorter and steadier walks to introduce new walkers to the splendour of our glorious countryside and the sheer joy of walking in the Cotswolds. Shorter walks will be at a gentler pace for those who fear that most Wardens’ Guided Walks may be a bit challenging. They will also be ideal for families (though not pushchairs or dogs, sorry) and possibly anyone wanting to regain fitness after a health setback. Children must be kept under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
