Route description

From Bulls Cross we descend in to the Painswick Valley using a variety of paths including the Wysis Way and then follow the Painswick stream in to Painswick. We continue through the village to rejoin the stream before making our way back to the start via Juniper hill and Frith Wood nature reserve.
The walk affords excellent views along the beautiful Painswick Valley and over the village itself. We will be able to observe the attempts to maintain and improve the juniper tree one of only three native conifers. There is an element of ascent and descent but nothing beyond the abilities of regular walkers. Please bring a snack and drink.
