Route description

Learn about the original Cheltenham Race course, ascend to Upper Dowdeswell, pass one of the largest Iron Age forts in the Cotswolds, skirt Kilkenny before dropping down to Foxcote, the Shipton Golf Course and an easy stroll back through the grounds of Owdeswell Manor.

Note that the Royal Oak is not open on Wednesday lunchtimes, at the time of writing.
