I walked the Cotswold Way twice at the same time with Snail, my friend and campervan, who drove me along the way stopping at Chipping Campden, Stanton, Winchcombe, Dowdeswell, Painswick, Middleyard, Dursley, Wotton-under-Edge, Tormarton, Cold Ashton, and finally to St Martins church, North Stoke, where we parked for the last time and walked the final leg to Bath Abbey and back. In total the walk took me 12 days to complete it both ways.
The highlight of the journey really was seeing Bath appear like a shining jewel as I was walking round Kelston Hill on a beautiful almost spiralling descent. It took my breath away.
