Route description

The walk starts at the historic and pretty village of Cold Ashton before descending the Limestone Link which we follow to the St Catherines Valley. We then climb up to the wartime airfield at Charmy Down. Decending from here we walk a short distance on the Limestone Link before climbing back to the plateau and making our way to Marshfield. We walk the length of Marshfield High Street before descending into the valley before the final climb back to Cold Ashton.

Please bring a packed lunch.

There is ample parking at the Cold Ashton village hall where we start the walk. There is a public toilet in Marshfield, near the end of the walk.
