Route description

ave you ever wanted to walk one of the many Self Guided Walks on the Cotswold CNL website? Have you felt trepidatious about undertaking such a task? Let us help to make it easier for you with this guided, self guided walk! Park in Andoversford, on Station Road. We walk through the old Roman settlement of Wycomb to Syreford Mill. On our right, in the woods, is an old gravel pit which provides evidence of Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Age occupation. We walk up a long stony track for 1.3 miles, which is great for blackberries later in the year and has a great view of Syreford Quarry. At the end of the track we turn left to Brockhampton and walk on to Sevenhampton. Eventually ending back at Syreford and on to the end of the walk.
