Autumn Colours in the Evenlode Valley

This easy 4.5 mile walk with no stiles has open views across the Evenlode Valley and skirts ancient Wychwood Forest. The route passes through the small villages of Fifield and Idbury tucked away on the edge of West Oxfordshire. The terrain is largely on good tracks and field paths, though expect some damp patches after heavy rain. There is very little incline and bridges to use where the small streams, all tributaries of the River Evenlode, have cut gullies. Bruern Farm Shop & Café offers a wide range of food and drink, perfect for a pre-walk breakfast or lunch after the walk.
