Route description

From Bledington we walk via the Diamond Way to Church Westcote and on to Icomb: three classic Cotswold villages with fine old houses, cottages and churches in mellow Cotswold stone, set in rolling countryside. Thanks to the work of the Cotswold Voluntary Wardens here on paths, bridges and gates, the walking is generally easy, although at this time of year some stretches may be muddy – and of course “rolling countryside” means there are a few gentle hills.

Bring refreshments for a mid morning snack and a late lunch when we get back, or, visit the Bledington café before or afterwards: it serves light lunches, snacks and drinks.
