Coln River Trail - Leg 3 - Andoversford to Withington

The third leg of our delightful River Coln Trail takes us through quiet and remote countryside to the lovely village of Withington and through Foxcote on our return. Although one of a series of walks which complete the Coln River Trail to Lechlade, this walk can be enjoyed as a stand alone circular walk.

Route description

The third leg of our delightful Coln River walks follows the river out of Andoversford to Shipton Oliffe through quiet and remote countryside to the lovely village of Withington.  We return through Foxcote, with a pretty approach to Andoversford.

  • Please wear weather-appropriate footwear and clothing for walking
  • Please bring a drink, a snack, lunch and sunscreen
  • The day before a walk, please check to ensure it is still running – and for any exceptional weather forecasts / warnings
  • All walk leaders are appropriately trained and have basic first-aid skills
  • Assistance dogs (on short leads) are welcome
  • Guided walks with the Wardens are free, but we welcome donations to help us sustain our work across the Cotswolds National Landscape.
