Disorder on the Border

From Milton under Wychwood we walk through the pretty village of Fifield and on to the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, passing some remote farms and the Little Rissington Airfield.

The route passes some remote dwellings, including one said to be where notorious highwaymen caused trouble in times past.

The open, rolling countryside offers good views as well as a few ups and downs. Much of the walk is on farm tracks. Bring refreshments for a mid-morning stop and lunchtime.
