From the Shutters Inn we head off to the village of Oxenton then on to the larger village of Teddington. From there we walk on to Alstone and back to Gotherington via Dixton Wood. Gotherington has a station on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway and it is well worth having a ride on this wonderful heritage railway, which has a round trip of 28 miles from Cheltenham to Broadway stopping at Gotherington, Winchcombe and Toddington.
