Route description

The walk takes us along predominantly good tracks and sections of quiet roads to pass through Cotswold Park and the villages of Woodmancote and Duntisbourne Leer before skirting Duntisbourne Abbots both of which are mentioned in the Domesday Book. Some sections could be muddy. Bring a mid-morning snack and drink.

Travel Info

From Cirencester turn left off the A417 for Duntisbourne Abbots and mimedately right towards Winstone on Notch Road. After 800 metres turn right under the A417 and right again to reach the start. From the direction of Gloucester turn off left on the A417 for the services and Duntisbourne Abbots and continue ahead to the start point.
