Route description

Our popular Third Thursday Walk is from Minchinhampton this month. An approximately 2.5 hour walk every month on the third Thursday starting at 10:30am from a café or pub, where there is an optional opportunity for a refreshment at the end of the walk. Come and enjoy the glorious Cotswold National Landscape with us every month.

This month we start at the market town of Minchinhampton and walk out to catch the stunning view of the Golden Valley. Then back across 2 commons and enter Box, which is nestled in its own ‘wooded bowl’ before returning to the historic and fascinating streets of our start point to enjoy the café or the pub!

Suitable for all abilities of walkers with some possible muddy sections depending on the weather.

Both Henry’s Bakehouse & Café and The Crown Inn will be open for post walk refreshments and food.
