Route description

Starting in Northleach we will head west to Yanworth over rolling countryside – there are a few stretches where we will descend and climb fairly steep slopes but these are each fairly short. After a break for refreshments by the beautiful 12th Century church of St Michael we will follow the MacMillan Way to Hampnett where there will be a chance to visit the Norman church of St George with its unusual Victorian wall paintings. We will then have a gentle downhill walk along the Monarch’s Way back into Northleach. There are toilet facilities in Northleach.
