Route description

The walk, mainly on farmland, explores the Sapperton Wilder project which is experimenting with methods of land restoration, while measuring biodiversity and social benefits. The project monitors key ecological indicators and socioeconomic returns by transforming 380 acres of ‘marginal’ Cotswold arable land to nature – based farming and encouraging wildlife recovery.
