Enjoy the delights and spectacular views on this walk within the Avon and Bybrook valleys with a glimpse into a different, man-made, world that lies beneath your feet.

Discover fascinating clues on route that help reveal hidden secrets of human activity beneath the surface dating from the 19th century to the present day. There are also stunning views both across the Avon valley towards Bath and in the Bybrook valley.

Some of the walk is flat but there are also hills/steep sections and four stiles. The terrain is rural footpaths and across rough grass.

Please bring food and drinks.

The meeting point (where the walk also finishes) is in the park near the number 3 bus stop (from Bath) where Dovers Park meets High Street, Bathford BA1 7SN. The bus stop is called Dovers Park. There is limited on street parking.
