Churchill is tucked away in the far west of Oxfordshire. The village was home to two people who left their mark in very different ways. A lovely interesting walk, the far reaching views a bonus.

Route description

The route has varied terrains with woodland, field paths and firm tracks with gentle inclines.

Lunch options afterwards – bring a picnic to enjoy. There are plenty of benches near the church. The Chequers serves good food and nearby Chipping Norton not only has plenty of cafes but also free car parking.

The walk will start on the steps by the church.
