Route description

The walk starts at Batheaston car park and proceeds to Bathampton Meadows before passing through the picturesque village of Bathford. We then ascend to Bannerdown Common before continuing into the beautiful St Catherine’s valley along a section of the Limestone Link footpath to the village of Northend and back to the start point.

Please note Batheaston car park is limited to 3 hours. Alternative parking can be found on London Road East (free) or in the car park of the Batheaston Medical Centre (paid).

Please bring refreshments and a packed lunch.

There are frequent bus services from Bath, Chippenham, Melksham to the start point.
