Route description

  • Starting from King’s Stanley, we will walk up to Selsley Common to enjoy the view. We then descend towards the Nailsworth Valley through Woodchester Vineyards. We reach the bottom end of Woodchester Park, and walk the length of it, passing lakes and the Mansion. This will be open for toilets and refreshments. At the top we enjoy a woodland walk back down, ending through meadows back to King’s Stanley
  • There will be breaks for snacks / light packed lunch.
  • Please wear weather-appropriate footwear and clothing for walking
  • Please bring a drink, a snack, and sunscreen
  • The day before a walk, please check to ensure it is still running – and for any exceptional weather forecasts / warnings
  • All walk leaders are appropriately trained and have basic first-aid skills
  • Assistance dogs (on short leads) are welcome
  • Guided walks with the Wardens are free, but we welcome donations to help us sustain our work across the Cotswolds National Landscape.
