Our Cotswold Voluntary Wardens offer free guided walks across the Cotswolds National Landscape all year round, and they look forward to meeting you. These walks are an interesting and sociable way of exploring the scenic Cotswold countryside and landscape.

CNL60 - Pre-history

An 8 mile walk through several quiet hamlets, part of the Ditchley Estate, a manor with grounds designed by Capability Brown and a secluded river valley. An intriguing feature along the route is a megalithic stone, adding a sense of ancient mystery and history to the journey. A clear day will give us expansive views.

CNL60 Forest and Frescos

A beautiful summer walk through The Wychwood Forest before heading towards Chilson and Shorthampton to see the frescos in the Shorthampton Church and then lunch in Charlbury. After lunch we walk though the Cornbury Estate returning to Finstock.
