Navigation

Start at the Market Hall, facing the tourist information centre turn right and follow the Cotswold Way signs (CW). At the Catholic church turn right, follow the (CW) signs and continue up to the road/track for ½ mile (0.8km) to the junction with a road. Turn left and after approx 20 metres turn right (CW). Follow the path through a kissing gate.

Turn left along the top of the escarpment to the topograph. Go through the car park and turn left (CW) following the path through several gates to the crossroads. Cross and turn right to follow the (CW) along the field edge before following a long grassy track and across a field to come to a road. 1

Cross and follow the path to the next gate, turn left into Fish Hill picnic area and toilets before turning right to the main road.

Carefully cross the main road and turn right along the unused road to a wood. Go through the wood before exiting through a gate into a field. Continue straight ahead towards Broadway Tower.

Turn right before a tall kissing gate 2 in front of the Tower and head downhill to Broadway. (Well worth a stop here for views and refreshments, the cafe is situated 200 metres ahead through tall kissing gate). Go through several gates (CW) and past a few houses to arrive at a road, Broadway.

To visit the centre of Broadway turn left, follow the road down to a mini roundabout where the main shops start. (Buses are available from Broadway to Chipping Campden – Pulhams 606).

To return, retrace your footsteps to the Cotswold Way, cross the road and continue uphill for 200 metres, passing one signed path on the left and turn left at the second path to an underpass. Go under the road and straight on at the other side (do not go right). 3 Follow the path up the hill and through gates/ footbridge into the Foxhill Manor Estate. Please follow the signs carefully.
At Campden Lane, cross straight over and through a gate into a field, aiming for the next gate in the diagonally far right hedge, through more gates to Saintbury. At the church turn left down to the road. Here,
turn right for about 20 metres then left at the waymarker post beside a barn. Continue to a stile on your left, cross and along the narrow path to a stile on your right, cross and follow the path crossing two stiles and then turning left. There are a couple of gates (usually open) as you follow the hedge line. Cross the next stile then a small stream and track. 4

Go across the track and over a stile opposite. Follow the hedge line on the right down to a gate and then a footbridge after which you begin the final climb around the edge of Weston Park.

Continue straight up the hill, passing a footpath sign on the cross-track, to a gate in the top right-hand corner of the field. Follow the fence and through several gates leading you to a final kissing gate in a fence down to the road.

Cross the road and almost directly opposite go through a kissing gate onto Dover’s Hill. Turn right and follow the path up to the topograph at the top of the hill. Turn left along Dover’s Hill and retrace your footsteps down to Chipping Campden.
