Our Cotswold Voluntary Wardens offer free guided walks across the Cotswolds National Landscape all year round, and they look forward to meeting you. These walks are an interesting and sociable way of exploring the scenic Cotswold countryside and landscape.

CNL60 - Alderton around Dumbleton Hill

From the historic Gardeners Arms in Alderton, we walk around Dumbleton Hill, mostly through farmland, enjoying views to Bredon Hill and the Malverns. Although a daytime walk, we should learn something about “Ill met by Moonlight” and other WW2 exploits.

Chedworth and Stowell Park

Starting from the outskirts of Chedworth we traverse Hedgley Bottom to Fossebridge. We then continue through Camp Wood to cross the Stowell Estate to Yanworth Mill and onwards through Chedworth Woods to return to the start.

Shorter and Steadier 4 2026. Cleeve Common CNL60-Big Skies

The walk starts from the car park by the masts on Cleeve Hill and goes to the “memorial beech tree” with great views over the Severn Vale towards the Black mountains and the Malvern Hills.
