Coffee Morning Walk No. 1, ‘New Born Lambs in an Ancient Tithe Barn’.

Meet for coffee at 10 am. The walk starts at 10:30, taking us mainly along footpaths through fields in attractive countryside via Field Farm to Frocester, where we should see new-born lambs at the magnificent 13th century tithe barn. No major climbs. Lunch available locally after the walk.

This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.

PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (07841 663607) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.

Starting Point: Community shop, Coaley, on north side of main road through village. Coaley lies 3 miles north west of Dursley. Follow (twisty) Box Lane from the A4135, passing Cam & Dursley railway station en route.
