Burford from Various Perspectives!
A circular walk from Burford which includes a visit to the medieval hamlet of Widford and the pretty "scene Stealing" village of Shilton. Please bring a drink and snack for a mid-morning break.
There are a couple of short strenuous uphill sections and a couple of stiles which are the highest you are ever likely to encounter!
This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (07841 663607) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
