COMBE MILL in STEAM Sunday 21th July 2019

All of our steam and water powered machinery will be running in this Late 19th Century restored Sawmill and Workshop that once served the Blenheim Palace Estate.. We will be attracting steam and motor powered vehicles of various sorts –get in touch and register to display your vintage vehicle, Make a poker in our Dual Blacksmiths’ Forge. See how country houses and farms would have powered their machinery. Try your hand at making things and see how machinery works. See our working Beam Engine and Line Shafting together with the Restored Waterwheel. Demonstrations of craftsmen's tools and Working Historic Tower Clocks. Refreshments in our popular Riverside Tea Room, with picnic area by the River Evenlode.
There is a Millie-the-mill-cat trail for the children to win a `Millie` badge
