History Walks – Lilliput Farm
The Hamswell valley contains a wealth of prehistoric, medieval, civil war & Georgian features all clearly visible within a small area, providing a unique insight into how successive ages developed and used a compact natural landscape, and how they might have interpreted the landscape in terms of astronomy, aesthetics, politics, warfare or economics.
Walks will be in groups of 30-40 people, will take about 2 hours and are free. No dogs please, except for a disability, because of livestock.
Tea at Lilliput Farm afterwards for which there will be a charge. We will be soliciting donations for Help for Heroes to be made direct to their website. Bookings will be needed - if interested, and for more details please look on our website: www.lilliputfarm.org.uk
