The Cotswolds Way was a brilliant adventure which we completed in 5 days with fairly little preparation. We were gifted with excellent weather which made for spectacular views. The route passes through lovely English villages so you're never too far from somewhere to grab a coffee, lunch or dinner and a well-earned beer at the end of each day. The route is brilliantly way marked throughout so navigation is super simple and the locals are very welcoming and approachable. All in all a very enjoyable experience. It's a great route for anyone wanting their first taste of multi-day hikes. Well done Fab, it was a pleasure. On to the next adventure!

We enjoyed generally favorable -- and sometimes spectacular -- weather as we covered the 102 miles in seven days.
A lovely walk and lovely people along the way.

Weather was superb and we met lots of walkers from around the world, and locals walking with their dogs. Best deli in Broadway; best pub “the Oak” in Painswick.

Aged 74!
Walked northwards from Bath in sections day by day whenever there was a suitable weather forecast.
Worth the drive out from Bucks and enjoyed every step (including the heatwave days)

A great well sign posted route, however do not get complacent as signs can be covered up by overgrown hedges etc and easy to miss. In general though a very well maintained trail, thanks to the hard work of all those who look after it. I was lucky enough to have dry hot sunny days for the whole walk.

Finished the Cotswold Way Bath to Chipping Camden direction, after a drawn out time period due to the covid restrictions. I started in June 2019 with some others associated with the Christian Walking Club. Originally we did in linear stages, then moved to circular walks, I finished off a few sections on my own or friends. It's now given me the bug for long distance trails.

What a beautiful National Trail. We started in a very busy Chipping Campden. The first day of the walk was busy with tourists and day walkers, especially around Broadway. We stayed in a delightful B&B in Wood Stanway & were sent on our way with a hearty full English! Day 2 was a long day but with great views of Cheltenham & rewarded with a cider at Dunkertons in Charlton Kings. Day 3 was a lovely day through some beautiful forests - peaceful & tranquil. We finished in the delightful town of Painswick. Day 4 brought the welcome waymarker indicating 55 miles to Bath - nearly half way! We came across a surprise vineyard & some stunning views of the quintessential English countryside. A delicious curry at ‘Everest’ in Dursley refuelled us after a hard day. Day 5 started with a trip around a golf course, where we met a chap who had put some of the original Cotswold Way waymarkers up in 1970. Great to meet one of the original volunteers who had lots of interesting stories to tell! Lovely meadows and some climbs rewarded with monuments were a feature of today. A slight detour to The Bodkin was needed for accommodation but it was worthwhile for a friendly welcome. Day 6 took us through some lovely villages and to a beautiful Norman church in Old Sodbury, with yet more delightful views to reward our climbs. The M4 and A46 were a stark contrast! We had a lovely stay at Hill Farm to end day 6. Day 7 was a short walk to Bath - back to hustle & bustle but with a great sense of pride & achievement.

Walked The Way from South to North; Bath Abbey to Chipping Campden. Amazing adventure that I only stumbled upon in COVID lockdown when I decided to head out for a local walk in the countryside. Took longer than expected due to an unexpected hip replacement operation 4 months ago. Fantastic trail, with many iconic sights and endless breathtaking views of the West.

Amazing walk and experience. Completed S-N in 3.5 days due to other commitments but will be back to walk N-S at a more leisurely and enjoyable pace another day. Extremely well marked and meeting with the Wardens work groups en route an added value. Thanks to all the team who keep this walk What it is…
