What an amazing adventure! We loved this beautiful trail - it challenged us (especially in a heat wave) but the rewards were abundant every day: the beautiful views that greeted us round so many corners, the gorgeous villages and towns along the way, the comradery of other walkers travelling alongside us. It has been a truly moving experience to share with my son and has created life-long memories for us both.

We loved the trail but should have taken 8 days instead of 7 to explore the villages more. The countryside was beautiful and scenic. We self guided, and thought the trail to be well marked. Only lost our way twice.

I took a leisurely 13 days to complete the trail which was a perfect way to celebrate having given up full time work.

Walked and wild camped the Cotswold Way solo last summer - had fantastic weather and a great trip! A definite highlight was the views from Cleeve Common and the Air Balloon Pub (which has now unfortunately closed!).

Took 7 days to walk the trail. Thought it was well marked in most spots. We self-guided, but used Cotswold Walks to transfer luggage.

An amazing 7 day experience. I started in Chipping Camden then stopped in Winchcombe, Seven Springs, Painswick, Dursley, Hawkesbury Upton and then Cold Ashton. I used a variety of hotels, inns and Air BnBs as well as the brilliant Hill Farm BnB (Highly recommended) in Cold Ashton. Nothing but beautiful scenery. The way is very well signposted, even the diversion, so many thanks to all the wardens for their tireless work.

Just finished the Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden to Bath and it was glorious! The lambs are in the fields and the wildflowers are in bloom at this time of year. We did it in 7 stages, arriving on the first day from London and catching the train back on the last day. It was a little quick and I'd take an extra day or two if I did it again. We started with four and ended with two - and met lots of people along the way. We stayed in Wood Stanway, Cleeve Hill, Birdlip, Selsley, Wotton-Under-Edge, and Tolldown. Luggage was transferred by CarryaBag. Watch out for the rapeseed field just before Wotton-Under-Edge - that was a surprise!! We also congratulated ourselves prematurely upon reaching Bath :)

Our son, Jack (aged 8), has walked the Cotswold Way with his family as a fundraising activity to raise money for his chosen charity, the World Land Trust. He has raised nearly £1300 for the charity for this particular activity and completed it in stages between January - May 2022, often walking 10 or 11 miles at a time.

We started in May 2021 in Chipping Campden and based ourselves in different places as we worked our way south west.
We have been wet, wind blown and hailed on but have enjoyed the beautiful limestone scenery and the delightful towns and villages.
